Boise, ID --01/12/2024 -- Boise School District schools will be in session today, Friday, January 12, 2024 and the District reminds all students, staff, parents and community members to travel safely. The District has winter travel safety tips that we encourage everyone to review before beginning travel, (i.e., drive slowly, provide plenty of distance between your vehicle and others while driving, etc.). You will also find other valuable resources in the links below.
If parents believe it is too dangerous for their children to travel to school they have the option to keep their children home. Please notify your school if you intend to keep your child home today.

Winter Weather Procedures: When winter weather strikes, Boise School District has a plan to keep students & staff safe. Our winter weather procedures begin the night before a storm hits and we consult with a variety of organizations in determining how winter weather impacts our school operations.
