Message from Superintendent:

Be Safe For The Break

November 17, 2023

Dear Boise Friends and Families,

As we begin our Autumn Break, we want everyone to stay safe and healthy. However, there are many in our community who are in crisis. Please, talk to your kids. Reconnect with a distant family member or friend. Find a kind word for a stranger.

While our schools are often the safe space for our youth, there are resources in place for you and your loved ones at any time of the day or night. If you, or someone you know, needs support, please reach out to your mental health provider or one of our community partners below:

  • If You Are in Need of Immediate Support
  • Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or Text 988 Available 24/7
  • Mobile Crisis Support: Call 208-334-0808 Available 24/7

  • Free counseling for all students and their families:
  • Offered by BPA Health Student and Family Assistance Program: Call 833-935-3816 for 5 free counseling sessions for all students, their caregivers, and siblings. Learn more online at BPA Health.

  • Charlie Health (Virtual)
  • Offers specialized treatment and curated groups that match clients based on age, life experiences, and mental health goals.
  • Charliehealth.com
  • (866) 491-5196

Please stay safe and connected to those you care about.

Sincerely,

Coby Dennis

Superintendent
