Student Wellness

Student Wellness Policy

Our District's student wellness policy focuses on providing school environments that promote the general well-being, mental and physical capacity, and learning ability of each student. The Boise School District promotes healthy schools by supporting wellness, good nutrition, and regular physical activity as part of the total learning environment.

Our Wellness Committee develops, implements, monitors, and reviews District nutrition and physical activity practices. Committee membership consists of school board members, administrators, food service staff, health professionals, PE teachers, students, parents and the public.  If you are interested in becoming a member of our District student wellness committee, please contact [email protected] or call 208-854-4090 for more information.
