Jefferson Elementary School was constructed in 1956. Jefferson will receive a significant upgrade through the addition of useable space to address current limitations and challenges related to the school's outdated gymnasium/auditorium and cafeteria.
By providing dedicated, individual space to physical education, performing arts and the cafeteria, Jefferson will be better able to accommodate multiple events at one time and meet modern education standards.
April 7, 2021 Update: CRC Design/Build is wrapping up construction of the LCA
designed Cafeteria. Installation of kitchen equipment is complete. City of Boise and
Central District Health inspections are scheduled for April 6, 2021. Cafeteria tables are
scheduled to arrive April 8, 2021. Equipment from the existing kitchen will be moved at
that time and the kitchen will be occupied.
